Margaux LORMIER invites customers to carefully read the general conditions of sale below before placing any order for items listed on shop.margauxlormier.com .

These general conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the site. shop.margauxlormier.com .
Margaux LORMIER reserves the right to modify these conditions over time. The conditions applicable to any order are those in effect at the time of the order.

Any order placed for a product listed on the site shop.margauxlormier.com implies acceptance by the buyer of all of these general terms and conditions of sale set out below.

Consequently, the consumer acknowledges being fully informed of the fact that his agreement concerning the content of these general conditions does not require the handwritten signature of this document.

These general conditions of sale determine the rights and obligations of the buyer with regard to the products sold on the website. shop.margauxlormier.com , in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions governing e-commerce and distance sales.

3.1 Product Availability

Only the Articles appearing on the site shop.margauxlormier.com on the day of the order, and identified as available, may be sold to the Customer. The offer of the Item and the prices are valid as long as the Item is indicated on the site as being available, within the limits of the stocks indicated on the product sheet. In the event that a product is unavailable after placing your order, we will inform you by email. A full refund of your order within 48 hours or a credit note corresponding to the amount of your order will be issued and your order will be automatically canceled.

3.2 Product Description

Each product is made by Margaux LORMIER, owner of the site shop.margauxlormier.com . The illustrations are imagined and then created using software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. The illustrations are then printed in various formats.

Each illustration is printed by a professional printer, or by Margaux LORMIER. However, please note that colors may vary slightly from one print run to another.

Each pin is designed by Margaux LORMIER and then produced by a professional manufacturer.

The various products sold by Margaux LORMIER are presented by one or more photographs, a description with their characteristics and a price including VAT in euros. The photographs are as faithful as possible to the products sold. However, the colors rendered may vary from one screen to another.

4. Price

4.1 Application of prices

Product prices are indicated in Euros, inclusive of all taxes, excluding logistics preparation and delivery costs, which are invoiced in addition, and indicated before the order is confirmed. The prices applied are those appearing on the site at the time of the order. After this date, they are subject to change at any time.

Full payment must be made when ordering.

4.2 Charges relating to customs and import taxes

Any shipment outside of mainland France may be subject to customs and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Margaux LORMIER cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs caused by customs.

5. Orders

5. 1 Validation of the order

You declare that you have read and accepted these General Conditions of Sale before confirming your order. This therefore constitutes acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale.

Your order is validated upon receipt of payment.

Margaux LORMIER reserves the right not to confirm an order for any reason whatsoever, including a product supply problem or a problem with the order received. We recommend that our customers keep a paper or electronic record of their order data. The customer must verify the completeness and accuracy of the information they provide to Margaux LORMIER. The latter cannot be held responsible for any data entry errors or the consequences in terms of delays or delivery errors. In this context, all costs incurred for reshipping will be borne by the customer.

5.2 Payment

Payment for your purchases is made by credit card or PayPal.

Margaux LORMIER reserves the right to suspend any order management and any delivery in the event of non-authorization of payment by officially accredited organizations or in the event of non-payment.

Margaux LORMIER reserves the right to refuse to make a delivery and to honor an order from a consumer who has not fully or partially paid for a previous order or with whom a dispute is currently being administered.

Margaux LORMIER retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of all sums owed by the customer in connection with their order, including fees and taxes.

5.3 Acknowledgment of receipt of the order

A summary document of the order is sent to the Customer by email to the email address provided when ordering and at the latest before delivery. This document serves as an acknowledgment of receipt and also includes all the elements constituting the contract entered into between the Parties.

6. Shipping the order

6.1 Order processing

Your order processing time is 3 to 7 business days maximum from receipt of your payment. These times may vary during collection launches, sales, or holidays.

However, delivery times will be extended in the case of a personalized order.

Once the order has been shipped, Margaux LORMIER cannot be held responsible for the delivery time, which can sometimes be extended (social movement, weather conditions, etc.) and are beyond its control.

Delivery times once the order has been shipped vary from 2 to 4 days generally for France, and 1 to 2 weeks for international orders.

In the event of unavailability of the ordered product, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible and will have the option to cancel their order. They will then have the choice of requesting either an exchange of the product or a refund of the amounts within 30 days from the date of the request.

6.2 Delivery

Deliveries are made in France and worldwide.

All orders will be delivered to the delivery address specified by the customer when ordering. Postcards are shipped in standard envelopes. Posters are shipped in cardboard-backed envelopes. La Poste carriers ship.

For shipments to mainland France and overseas territories:

Shipping costs vary depending on the selection. Shipping costs can be calculated via the "Shopping Cart" page by indicating the delivery country.

If the order exceeds the volume and weight of a letter and requires a parcel, shipping will be by Colissimo or Colissimo Overseas.

For shipments to the European Union:

Delivery costs can be calculated via the “Cart” page by indicating the delivery country.

If the order exceeds the volume and weight of a letter and requires a parcel, shipping will be done by Colissimo international.

Please note that tracking until delivery is done in the destination country to: Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Norway, New Zealand, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, USA. Non-exhaustive list subject to change during the year.

For any shipment to another destination, tracking is carried out up to the French border.

For shipments to the rest of the world:

Delivery costs can be calculated via the “Cart” page by indicating the delivery country.

If the order exceeds the volume and weight of an envelope and requires a parcel, shipping will be done by Colissimo international.

When ordering to a country other than mainland France, the French overseas territories, and the European Union, customs duties or other local taxes may be required. Margaux LORMIER cannot be held responsible for these additional charges.

6.3 Receipt of delivery

The products are delivered to the address indicated by the consumer on the order form. Delivery is deemed to have been made upon handing over the product to the carrier La Poste. The customer must check the completeness and conformity of the information provided to Margaux LORMIER. The latter cannot be held responsible for any data entry errors and the consequences in terms of delays or delivery errors. In this context, all costs incurred for the reshipment of the order will be entirely borne by the customer.

Margaux LORMIER cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to errors or disruptions attributable to carriers. The consumer is required to check the condition of the packaging and merchandise upon delivery. In the event of a problem, the Customer agrees to notify Margaux LORMIER by email within two working days of receipt of the Items. Margaux LORMIER reserves the right to refuse to serve a subsequent order in the event of abnormal or abusive returns by the Customer.

7. Withdrawal, returns and refunds

7.1 Withdrawal & Returns

In accordance with current legal provisions, you have 7 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal from Margaux LORMIER.

The returned item must be in new condition and in its original packaging. It must not have been used, nor have suffered any damage, however minimal, and be in a perfectly clean state. To be accepted, any return must be reported in advance to Margaux LORMIER. Any item not meeting these characteristics will not be refunded or exchanged.

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. In the event of loss or damage to the returned package, Margaux LORMIER will not be able to refund the order and the buyer will have to file a claim directly with their carrier.

Custom orders are non-refundable.

7.2 Reimbursement

The refund of the products will be made as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days following the date on which the right was exercised. The refund will be made by credit to the payment method initially chosen by the buyer.

Any benefits or promotions obtained when purchasing a product will be cancelled if the product is returned and a refund is given for the product.

8. Privacy Policy

The information requested from the Customer when placing an order is necessary for processing the order.
However, this information is kept strictly confidential by Margaux LORMIER and is processed in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. Margaux LORMIER undertakes not to communicate your personal data to a third party.

9. Intellectual Property

All texts, photographs, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on the site are protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
Any use or reproduction, partial or total, on any medium whatsoever, of these elements is formally prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by articles L 335-2 and following of the Intellectual Property Code. Unless authorized by Margaux LORMIER.

10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These general conditions of sale are subject to French law regardless of the country of delivery.
In the event of a dispute, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction.

11. For the attention of German buyers – VerpackG

Since July 1, 2022, it requires e-retailers to register with the central packaging agency and establish a contract with an eco-partner in order to participate in the system.
Packaging related to shipping (envelopes, boxes, among others) but also those used for packaging (backing cards, protective bags, etc.) are subject to the obligation to participate in the system.

Melimargaux is registered in the LUCID register and its eco-partner is Reclay.

Recycle and reuse packaging whenever possible 🙂
